Justice - The Key to Survival & Growth

Well the issue we got to talk about today is the most focal, highly weighty and absolute resultant in the history of nations. Mammoth Individuals compose a society; diverse societies originate regions and sundry regions set up a state, country or nation.

All the discussed segments are in existence since the arrival of humans on planet earth and with the passage of time and with the expansion of humankind, conflicts materialized and crimes committed for land, money, rule and what not. Therefore, the importance of some agreed upon laws been realized to manage and lead thoughtful, moral and cultured societies.

According to allied traditions, formal and informal courts of law took over and their decisions stood binding to accept in any type of dispute. The process continued and people used to sort out their routine issues through such courts/jirgas. The societies spread over and getting under single control, the necessity of uniformity in laws observed. Denial a part, the societies shaped the nations accepted or forced to accept the authority or rule, proper courts to provide justice established following formulation a code of conduct to establish a peaceful society.

As the most contemporary theories accede that justice is overwhelmingly important in fact is the primary and the most prerequisite virtue to piloting a peaceful, benevolent and ethical system on the basis of impartiality, truth, precision and weighing the claims of competing claimants. Unluckily the association of justice with fairness in our region has historically and culturally been rare and occasionally if so, the reactions of the people in general have been wired.

Scarcity of fairness in justice has been a hefty factor historically in building uprising and revolutionary thoughts amongst living people. When the rights and honor of deprived people are encroached, the revolted approach sneaks in to stamp out the unjust beasts to gain the gems of pride and to live with liberty and dignity without fear.

This could however cause society in catastrophe owing to simple reason that everyone would be fixing on his own setting of scores that may be overdone in nature. Hence justice should be speedy and such a translucent that none of the parties or the public may portray their concerns on the grounds or substantiation of the case.

One thing to remember that justice can only exist with the coordinates of equality in terms of both equality of opportunity and equality of outcome so what is to be distributed - wealth, respect, opportunity and what are to be distributed equally between - individuals, families, nations, races, and species. It would affirm that freedom and justice without equality and hallow and that equality itself is the highest justice.

When all the conditions of justice are met with equality disregarding the wealth, power and resources by either of the parties, the society would be cleansed of dismay, throttle and repression. It would consequentially channelize the skills, potentials, energies and valued intelligence to putting up the whole nation towards a dimension that would end with a bright prospect to being a developed, cultured and progressive homeland inhabitants.

The foreign investments would then mount on your stipulated provisos, peace prevailed, harmony restored, terrorism and social inequality constrained and notably the political, economic and other structural portfolios will be amalgamated to rocket the nation head for prosperity and growth.

Education Myth in Pakistan

Education has always been the most elegant, sensitive and prickly issue across different levels especially in Pakistan. Literacy rate was that, now is this and will rise to apex as per projection, this is what all the policy makers ornate.

The result we all know always is nix and still the claims have always been asserted to stunning success. Illusion probably could be the very best example to this massive distortion of facts. The avowed slope is going upwards while we as a whole are more and more violent, uncouth, cacophony and lastly depressed.

Funds Allocation Is Not The Answer
Allocating increased funds, making administrative changes and creating awareness of the importance of education could not produce even a small proportion of the people which may be presented as role models.

Till now, the education dawns with English and dusks at English to produce mostly with politicians, teachers, managers, bureaucrats etc. Also the trend has been observed that everyone wishes to manage or administrate the settled set-ups hence business administration, commerce and banking etc. disciplines are much loved by Pakistani youth.

Economic Growth Through Business Managers and Import Reliance
I don’t understand how can a country progress just by administration that too has gone astray in all aspects especially in government sector and if it is working in private sector, most of the percentage there is too relevant to import of various goods from other countries.

Agriculture and textile sectors are the backbone of Pakistan economy and the labor engaged in these sectors are largely uneducated so if they decide to migrate to the urban areas for their children to “educate to administrate the country” rather “educate to yield the sector”, where the Pakistan would end up with?

Thanks to Allah Almighty still there are people who actually contribute to the national economy production and exports of agriculture products, by-products and textile sector etc. Sadly, their cries have never been effectively heard by the power intoxicated sitting in the parliament and public offices.

However amazingly, these prime contributors to Pakistan economy belonging to lower class living near or below the poverty line remain at the mercy of business managers, bureaucrats and feudalists trained in domestic and international universities who wring them to capitalize high profits, cut production costs and paying low wages. Everyone yearns to remain white color and rule and criticize the actual helping hands of the economy.

Level Playing Field
Coming to the children, though these days, the kids’ attitude, personality development, grooming and teachers’ behavior are the focal points but the outcome despite all these nourishments is nothing and also such superlative facilities are generally catered to elite class institutions what others could just dream of.

The children are plants so we have to provide prerequisite equal opportunities environment to them all irrespective of what kind of fruit they would bear in future. The raw material until processes in the factory could never be assessed and who knows that a kid begging or serving could have been a Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan.

We need hundreds of thousands of such competent and quality individuals to reverse the fate of Pakistan though unfortunately we are highly lacking the examples for our children to follow and the today’s Pakistan is saturated with politicians and bureaucrats vows to take Pakistan to peak just by gossips.

Understandably, may be some of the nuts and bolts may not be provided to lesser class but no less than syllabus could be devised of the same nature letting all the students to own the same playing field. A step further and ponder to finalize your primary language as medium since currently so many mediums are in operation that a kid is just confused why I am being hassled to learn ‘AAM’ in Urdu and then ‘MANGO’ to same item.

The state of affairs even worsens when more linguistics like Punjabi, Sindi, Balochi, Pushto, Farsi etc are put there in syllabus. In fact, our kids are bound to be groomed in multiple languages not in knowledge, ethics or personality.

So a kid from Punjabi background and hearing native language from the lap of the mother has to adapt to Arabic, Urdu and English in one turn and in the process of this complexities, sizeable ratio turns confused and embraces rebellion approach.

What Literacy Means To The World
The bottom line is that literacy the world defines as knowledgeable, cultured and mannered here in Pakistan dwindles to just and just English. Whereas French, English, Dutch, Chinese, Polish etc. children are liberated from such irritant obscurities hence swim neatly and reach the skies.

Economic Circumstances
In conclusion, it is irrelevant that how much of GDP we spend to education sector, unless and until primary issues that includes quantitative and qualitative dimension are resolved, the product would remain worthless.

It is also imperative to mention that providing books free of cost or giving stipend for sending their children to schools skews foolish. We are trying to bribe the poor parents to earn for sending children to schools so whenever the monetary interests are perished; the children would evaporate from the schools too.

Parents with limited income have to first feed the children and after their household expenditure, they are left blank to invest on the education of their kids. And the country which is scrolling down in all aspects, how long could motivate the parents to send kids to schools and earn a little too.

Had the resources of the country been better mobilized and the impact been trickled down to low income levels, that would have automatically energized the parents to develop the skills of their children. That’s the sure, empty pocket prompts money not books and only the money earned activates education, health and luxuries.

Pakistan, Better Remain Uneducated
If we are to produce the kind of education class we are producing now, Pakistan should better remain uneducated as in this case, we would ultimately be supplying Pakistan the generation of money seekers, resource grabbers and self-interested people. So STOP funding education sector and keep building roads instead of characters!

System Dilemma

Democracy … Democracy … Democracy … this is what we have been hearing for decades. When there will be democracy, it will empower the general public, the economy will flourish under its shade, investors’ trust will be restored, labor and women rights will prevail, public representatives will be answerable to their constituencies and consequently the crescent of the country will linger on the horizon.

We are curious to find any one of these outcomes in so called modern system called Democracy at least in our country, Pakistan. What we see is that the power of the people of Pakistan has almost disappeared, the economy has continuously been rattled in nearly all areas, the rights of labor and women are thwarted, public representatives presumed to be the most imperative factor of the system are trashing the public and yes of course what an image of the country been portrayed to the world, the appetizing topic for our television anchors and intellectuals.

Does expending enormously on sketching alike structure authenticate the development and growth of the under developed country like us? Does the transfer of powers to some of their elected representatives certify the resolution to the problems of the people? Does balloting evolve a group to fight for the rights, welfare and happiness of millions of people? Please get rid of this useless discussion of governmental systems and models in a democratic environment.

The countries leading the world today have emphasized more on the strengths not systems. The approach, will and autonomy of the people has first been restored reinstated by the leaders of Japan, Germany, France and other western countries after horrible disasters of world wars.

Then all they explored and capitalized their domestic resources ensuring least dependence on other countries and propping up self-reliance. Eventually the blend of trained intelligence, invariable tireless struggles and utilization of available resources transformed them into social, economic and military powers.

Though the wills, hard work and commitment channelized towards right direction of these nations could be role model but not necessarily the track to development as the circumstances vary from country to country. For an example, if oil enriched country would prioritize agriculture or livestock, it will terribly end up in a disaster and vice versa.

Examples are supposed to motivate and energize people to achieve predetermined goals and it is not certainly obligatory to chasing the same routes as the succeeded nations have preferred. Everyone shares the patterns of developed countries not the hidden exertions, sweats and struggles which laid the foundation of their developed economies.

They are earnest so you can be too, they are devoted so you can be too, they intend to insert their role in the world, why can’t you? Don’t try to flee the hurdles in one instance and fracture yourself, take a start so crawl, stand, walk and then run.

Thus be honest and determined, evade badies, earn and pay legally, chuck the deceits and at least revolutionize an individual. The count will soon Insha Allah be two, three…then hundreds, latter thousands and eventually millions. System is irrelevant for these and what is relevant is a true intent and self-responsibility.

When we sense ashamed of begging our neighbors, relative or friends, why can’t when it comes to strangers like other countries. Resources must be capitalized to multiply not to consume on luxuries or non-necessities; wills must be inducted to personal and collective growth not to bag undue gains; work must be executed to yield and reap not to chop the land you live in.

How long we would plead to survive, to feed our children and to sustain our status being an import based economy. Little to eat with dignity is far better than beg and eat. Send-off luxuries, curse the bribe, fire the bloody status, limit the undue spending and share with the deserving fellows to propel.

Then a system will mechanically crafted which may be named whatever but that’s the sure Pakistan would be added to the illustrations people all the world over talk about.
